The topic of the future of financial reporting is an important issue today, especially because it is closely related to the issue of sustainability. If we talk about the future, then what is wrong with current financial reporting? The main purpose of financial reporting is to convey financial performance to shareholders with the main measure being Profit which is generated from financial statements based on historical principles. Meanwhile, potential investors who want to invest in the company, they tend to seek information about the future, which in addition to profit is also related to social and environmental impacts. As stated by Prof. barker, "There are two quite distinct types of information that investors what they want to know. What was your profit last year, and what do you ask this Noble now? And they want to know, what kind of business do you have in terms of its environmental and social impact? And how do I therefore need to think about the future of your business?".
